Grade 7

Week of December 4 – 8

Hello, Grade 7 Parents,

There are only three weeks left until Christmas Break and we have a lot going on in this last stretch.

Christmas Production

Thank you to all of you with a child in the Christmas play for ensuring that they have been on time for their morning practices. They are doing a wonderful job and we are so excited for them to perform “The True Stories of Christmas” for you on December 19th. Show times and the other usual details for the Christmas shows will be sent out next week.

We will be practicing primarily during lunch times this week to give a much needed chance for ‘sleeping in’ a bit.

All Grade 7’s participate in the production of the show, so if your child is not performing in the play portion of the production, in addition to singing the class song, they will also take on a ‘backstage role’. Details about their responsibilities will be given directly to them and some may be required to attend practices closer to the show to practice their role. On behalf of Ms. Guevara, Ms. Meyer and myself, thank you for your support!

Friday December 8th – Grade 7 & Kindergarten Assembly for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception

If you are able to, please join us on Friday at 9:00am for our assembly, which falls on the feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary.

Luke 15 House – Charitable Donations Due

Please read the Ms. Griffin’s letter sent to you last Friday regarding our Christmas charity collection this year for Luke 15 House. We are grateful to support the residents of Luke 15 House, which is a Christ-centred home and school of love, support, and healing for men with addiction.

Our class has been assigned the specific donation of:

one adult toothbrush and toothpaste (120mL) AND $5

All donations are due by Monday, Dec. 11th and can be handed to me on this day.

Please read Ms. Griffin’s letter for all the details.

Thank you in advance for your support of this most worthy cause.

Class Advent Party – Tuesday December 12th

The Grade 7 Advent Party will take place this day. Thank you to your wonderful Room Parents: Valerie Guevara, Nicole Wong and Vanessa Cham for organizing!

Have a wonderful week!
