Hello Grade Two Families,
This week, our First Communion theme of ‘celebrating’ was very fitting as Grade Two had many things to celebrate! First, the class celebrated the upcoming Lunar New Year by reading a story about the Dragon Dance and creating artwork in anticipation for the Year of the Dragon. We also practiced for our assembly, happening next week, where we will be celebrating the meaning of love! In our Gold Books, we learned how important it is to take time to be together, to not only celebrate special occasions, but to also find happiness in the life and love we share. It is truly a joy watching the students connect what they were learning about in this program to other class activities!
Speaking of celebrating, the students brought home their CSL reports today. Please enjoy celebrating your child’s successes with them and acknowledge all their hard work so far in the school year! It has been a pleasure getting to work with your children for the first half of the school year and I look forward to continuing our learning adventure together!
