Hi Grade Two Families,
We started off this past week with an Easter Egg Hunt with our buddies! While the students enjoyed working together to find their treats, they also learned about the significance of Easter and why we celebrate this important liturgical season. The children also painted their own tulips to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and the new life we have received in Christ! The Easter season also goes along with our upcoming Gold Book themes of Giving Thanks for Creation and Giving Thanks for New Life. Please note that we will be covering both of these chapters next week.
The children are very excited for you to see the beautiful artwork they made and to show you what they have been learning in Grade Two! A notice was sent home this week about the Student-Led Conferences happening on Friday, April 19th. This is a special opportunity for you to celebrate your child’s accomplishments with them. Please don’t forget to book your appointment time on Saturday, April 13th. I look forward to seeing you then!
