From the Principal

Welcome Back!

Dear Parents,

On behalf of all the staff at St. Paul School, as well as our new Pastor, Father Smith, and new Assistant Pastor, Father Joseph, we welcome you to a new school year!  It continues to be a sincere pleasure and honour to serve another year as your Principal.

And what a year it is so far…  While the pandemic has reshaped the way our society functions, our goal at St. Paul’s is to make school as “normal” as possible for our community. (While strictly following health and safety protocols, of course!)  It has been a true labour of love for the staff to get the school ready to open our doors today, and the smiles on everyone’s faces have brought an energy to the school that has been desperately missing for 6 months.

I can’t express strongly enough how deeply appreciative and grateful I am for your support and cooperation through this upstart process.  All of you responded so well to the large volume of information coming home, and you made sure that your child was ready with what they needed.  On behalf of the staff, our heartfelt thanks.

And finally, as we begin the year, we will lift our hearts as we Walk with Jesus, our Living Hope.  Our journey this school year will bring new and different experiences, and may we be blessed with the virtues of patience, humility, and compassion, as we follow His gentle voice.

Yours in faith,

Maureen Moorehead
