Parenting in a Pandemic – What matters most? With Dr. Deborah MacNamara

Dear Parents,

I hope that you are all continuing to do well as we make our way through this journey together.  No doubt there have been trying times for all of us when it comes to helping to support our children through this pandemic, trying our best to address their questions and concerns in a realistic, yet age-sensitive manner.  On that note, I highly encourage you to tune in to a webinar tomorrow night with Dr. Deborah MacNamara.

While we have not faced times like these before, we are equipped to give our kids what they need to survive. Join Dr. Deborah MacNamara, Faculty member at the Neufeld Institute, who will walk around what it means to be resilient, how to deal with children’s emotions, and practical strategies for caring for our children when so much has changed. Using developmental science we will look at the power of human relationships and play to preserve us.

I have had the privilege of hearing Dr. MacNamara speak in person, and invite St. Paul families to join in via Zoom from 7:00 to 8:30 pm tomorrow night.  Please follow this link to register: https://rcav.org/event/parenting-in-a-pandemic-what-matters-most/

Stay safe and take care of each other.

Yours in faith,

Maureen Moorehead.
