Everybody Loves a Parade!

Dear Parents,

Everybody loves a parade, right??  So we have decided to have a car parade at school!  (With physical distancing and all other health measures in place, of course).  This Friday, May 1st, (**rescheduled from the original date of Wed. April 29th**) we invite all families to jump in your cars and come see us between 11:00 AM and Noon.  The school staff will be excitedly spread out around the perimeter of the back parking lot, waiting to see your smiling faces!  Come and say hello, wave from your car, and feel connected as a school community.  Dress up and be silly if you like, heck – dress up your car!  It’s all in an effort to feel connected.

More details will come early next week. Please know that this is an optional activity for families, as we certainly don’t want parents to feel they need to take time off work to bring their children. And because we know how generous and kind our parent community is, please note that we are regrettably unable to accept gifts of any kind (children’s drawings/artwork, tokens of appreciation, food, etc.)  Please just share your happy smiles and greetings with us – that’s enough to fill our hearts with joy!

Hope you can join us!

Yours in faith,

Maureen Moorehead.
