Grade 3

April 1st ~ 5th

Hello Grade 3 Families!

Alleluia! Jesus is risen! I hope that you are all having a wonderful time celebrating Easter Sunday!

I look forward to continuing the liturgical celebration of Easter with the Grade 3 students as we continue our Easter journey towards Pentecost!

The students who have finished writing their skits, and for whom I was able to make copies for each participant, have brought them home to start memorizing their lines. Each child will eventually have a copy of two skits: their main skit and the one in which they are a visitor. Please make sure that your child replaces them in their zippered pouch after each practice since they will be using the same copies to practice in the classroom.

There will be no spelling words this week. since the students will be using this homework and class time to memorize and act out their skits.

We should be able to start doing the videos of the Science Fair skits on Thursday.

April is National Oral Health Month. The students are encouraged to brush their teeth twice a day and have brought home a Brush2Win calendar for the month of April to track their progress. The students who have diligently brushed their teeth twice a day throughout April, and who show me their calendar at the end of the month, will receive 2 yellow tickets!
