Hello Grade 3 Families!
I hope that you had a wonderful time during Spring Break️! I am really looking forward to seeing the Grade 3 students tomorrow!
Today we are celebrating Palm Sunday and entering Holy Week. This week will be filled with reflections on the various events that followed Palm Sunday in which we will be learning more about Jesus’ sacrifice for us as we journey with Him through the Triduum.
The Mite Boxes, that were brought home to collect money for the seminarians, will be due on Wednesday of this week.
Tomorrow the Grade 3 students will continue to add their research information to their skit. When this is completed, they will start to memorize their parts and practice acting it out. Each team can change any part of the skit if they have different ideas or would like to be more creative!
In the afternoon they will have time to work on their diorama during Visual Art.
We had started to do the Stations of the Cross in Religion prior to Spring Break and will continue to do them this week.
Each student has chosen to do a Lenten Sacrifice during the 40 days of Lent. We will also be talking about it this week as a gentle reminder. Please encourage your child(ren) to continue to be diligent to their promise between now and the end of the Lenten Season.
