Hi Kinder families!
This week, in Math we learned how to collect data on a graph and how to tally numbers! In Language Arts we continued to practice blending words and we ended the week by learning all about Lunar New Year! We also lead our first Mass, what a great week! We hope everyone has a great weekend!

Homework:
- Please continue 10 to 15 minutes of home reading (please use “My Reading” book, “My Read Well” book, and books from home)
- UFLI– Please read together the ‘Pin in the Map’ story and focus on the individual sounds and trying to blend them together.
- Splash Learn– A great learning tool to further support your child in Math. Please use the login instructions that were sent home last week or send us an email if you are having any difficulties.
- 100s Day– We will be celebrating a 100 Days of School in the primary grades on Wednesday, February 21st with a “collection” project and a dress up day!
Friendly Reminders:
Socks/ Extra Layers – With the Winter season in full swing and the expected rain (or snow), please feel free to send your child to school wearing an extra layer just please ensure that the layers are in school appropriate colours. On wet days, we suggest packing an extra pair of socks in your child’s backpack, just in case.
CSL- Please return the CSL report covers and envelopes by Wednesday February 14th.
