Other Information

-There are multiple projects on the go right now as we are wrapping up our units. Please be advised that over the next two weeks, the students will have plenty of time to work on these in class. I will post all of the criteria and directions for each project on Google Classroom so that the instructions are clear.

-Our Science Inquiry project, the “Made by Me” Tradeshow, may require some parental involvement and supervision based on the products the students have chosen to market to their classmates. I will be sure to give you all plenty of advanced notice if the students need to bring in any kind of materials to school. Your support is much appreciated as we try our hand at being chemists, entrepreneurs and sales-people!

-Reminder that Monday, February 12 there is no school due to Family Day!

-Wednesday the 14th is our Ash Wednesday Mass. Please be advised that any Valentines Day treats are asked to be brought in on either the Tuesday or Thursday so we may remain reverent of Ash Wednesday and the importance of the beginning of our Lenten Season. Thank you kindly!

-On Saturday March 10, the Richmond Public Library (Brighouse) will be hosting a Popsicle Stick Bridge Competition for students from 10:00am-3:00pm. Mr. Chow will be hosting it and has passed along the information to me to share with all those who are interested in attending. It is of no cost to families and can be registered for at the library. More information can be found at egbc.ca

As always, if you have any questions or concerns feel free to email me. Enjoy your weekend!

With Love,

Ms. Haughian
