Hello Grade 3 Families!
I am so excited that you will be going over your child’s digital interim report with them, to see where they are in their learning. They are progressively becoming more independent and did several of the postings on their own! Please make sure that you read the notice in your child’s zippered pouch prior to going over the digital report with them on ClassDojo.
This week we will continue to honour those who have passed, and particularly the soldiers who fought for our freedom, as we approach Remembrance Day. Each student that brings a $2 donation will be given a poppy on Thursday. The poppies are used to raise money for veterans and to remember those who died in World War 1.
Please have your child bring their $2 donation for the veterans to school by Wednesday: we have a special Remembrance Day assembly Thursday morning, and this will allow us to save time.
This week the students will also start to pray the Rosary prayers using a rosary with their group. If it is not already done, please have them bring a rosary to school by Tuesday.
Our homeroom parents have provided us with everything needed for each student to make their own rosary. We will be doing this during Visual Art. Once they have completed making it, they can choose which one they would like to keep at school for when we pray the rosary.

- Remembrance Day Service in the gym at 10:45 am: you are welcome to join us
- White Spot hot lunch for those who ordered ~ please send cutlery with your child as usual

Friday ~ November 11th
- Remembrance Day: no school
