From the Principal

We wait and prepare…

The month of December brings with it Advent, the first phase of this holy season.  Christmas follows and then the Epiphany; they all tie into our Christian beliefs during this busy time of our lives.  We anticipate with Joy the coming of our Saviour, the Incarnation, and His Baptism – all gifts God has given mankind.  We all wait for those gifts under the tree, but it is those gifts from our Lord that we must always open first, and use them throughout our lives.  Here at school we will be having our Advent assemblies, preparing our students for our Saviour’s birth and helping them meaningfully understand the true meaning of Christmas.  We will continue to work together to help those in need during the Advent and Christmas Season, reminding us that it is far better to give than it is to receive.

Yours in faith,

Maureen Moorehead.
