Hello Kinder families,

We have had a great first week back with lots of learning and playing! We continued writing our numbers to ten and learning all about the letter C. Here’s to a wonderful 2023!

  • Dress Down Day- Black Excellence Day, please have your child wear something black to school.

Homework:

  1. Please continue 10 to 15 minutes of home reading (please use “My Reading” book, “My Read Well” book, and books from home)
  2. “Our Father” prayer –Please continue to practice this prayer every night with your child as we have incorporated it into our Morning Prayer routine.

Friendly Reminders:

  1. Spare clothes and Quiet time blanket: We had sent them home to ensure that the spare clothes include; underwear, pants, socks and a sweater and please wash the quiet time blanket. If you have not sent these items into school can you please send them in as soon as possible. 
  2. Socks- With the Winter season in full swing and the expected rain (or snow), we suggest packing an extra pair of socks in your child’s backpack, just in case.

  1. Wednesday, January 18th – Assembly led by Grade 7 & Kindergarten
  2. Thursday, January 19th – White Spot Hot Lunch (for those who ordered)
  3. Friday, January 20th – Professional Development – No School
  4. Monday, January 23rd – Yummy Pasta Hot Lunch (for those who ordered)
  5. Wednesday, January 25th – St. Paul Feast Day – Mass @ 9:15 am – all are welcome
  6. Thursday, January 26th – St. Patrick’s Choir Performance @ 1 pm
