Hi Grade 7 Parents!
It has been a fun, upbeat and action packed first week of school with our first school assembly and whole school Mass in nearly 18 months!
Assemblies will be every other week and our school Masses will be celebrated weekly on Thursdays. Next Thursday, September 16th, the Grade 7’s will lead the school Mass.
This coming Tuesday will be Meet the Teacher Night for Grades 4 – 7 parents, with my presentation to you being held from 7:30-8pm. Please wear a mask and be on time as I will start promptly at 7:30pm to be able to go through all the necessary information.
Grade 7 Hoodies have been ordered and will be presented to the students at the Leadership Ceremony on Wednesday September 29th.
Lastly, the students have all been set up on Google Classroom. You will be able to receive updates regarding what assignments the students are currently engaged in via an email invite I am going to send you (I will discuss further on Tuesday night how this is separate from tracking your child’s progress via their account).
To that end, please respond to me here with your preferred email address that you would like to have these Google Classroom updates sent to. Once you have sent me the address, you will receive an email invitation to receive these updates.
Please note that you do not need to go to the Google Classroom website and ‘join’ a class to receive these updates. Updates will be sent to the email address you provide only.
