First off, a big thank you and well done is in order to the Grade 7 students for preparing and performing such a powerful presentation of the Last Supper on Holy Thursday last week. Thank you the parents who were able to attend and take photos/video to share with those who were not able to be there.

Badminton
This Thursday many of our Grade 7 students will head off to their Zone Badminton Tournament and we wish them good luck!
On Monday of next week, April 17th, there will be the Badminton Finals for those who qualify on Thursday.

Confirmation Letters to the Archbishop – Due Tomorrow (Wednesday April 12th)
Just a friendly reminder that parent and student letters to Archbishop Michael Miller are due tomorrow April 12th. These can be placed in one envelope with your family name labeled on the outside and given to me at school.
Vancouver Art Gallery – Tuesday April 18th 2023
On Tuesday of next week, April 18th, we will head to the Vancouver Art Gallery to support our Artist Inquiry unit for Arts Education. Students must be at the school at 8am so that we can get organized and leave shortly thereafter to catch a bus to the Brighouse Canada Line station. I am looking forward to artistically enriching morning!
Student Led Conference – Friday April 21st (No Regular Classes)
Our annual Student Led Conferences will take place on Friday April 21st and by now you will have registered for your 30 minute time slot. The conference with your child will be completely curated and directed by them and they will be well-prepared to do so. I hope you enjoy this opportunity to celebrate your child’s learning, hear from their perspective about some of the activities they have engaged in over the past few months.
Please note that there are no regular classes this day. Also, students are to come in uniform during their registered time.
Confirmation Retreat – Saturday April 22nd
On Saturday April 22nd from 9am – 2:00pm in the St Paul Parish Centre, will be our final Confirmation retreat ahead of the students receiving this Sacrament on Tuesday May 2nd.
Like the retreat in January, students register in the Parish Centre at 8:45am and then head over to the church for morning Mass.
A very light snack (please have your child pack extra dry snacks to consume if they get hungry) + a pizza lunch will be provided.
We request that your child brings their water bottle to enjoy the fresh filtered water in the Parish Centre.
Please ensure your child is picked up promptly at the 2:00pm end time. Thank you!
