Grade 6

Jan. 10-Jan. 14

Dear parents,

This week we discussed our personalities, interests, skills, and jobs in our Careers class. In math, we investigated various types of angles using protractors. We also wrote a social studies letter as child living in an authoritarian government to further understand the differences in type of government. We did pointillism art too!

A conversation that arose in Careers class this week was that we don’t only base what we do with our lives upon our interests, skills, and the job market, but also discern what God wants us to do with our lives.

This Tuesday morning to follow up with this discussion, a good friend of mine from Toronto who is a seminarian, James Cyfko, will virtually visit us to talk about how he discerned his vocation to the priesthood. He’s great and the kids will enjoy meeting him!

If you plan on buying your child a hard copy of, “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe”, we will be starting it on Monday, January 24th.

Have a great weekend!

Mr. Graham
