Dear parents,
We had a great time skiing at Grouse Mountain on Wednesday despite a bit of foggy weather. It has been awesome to see how talented our students are at skiing!
This week, we focused on writing interesting dialogue in language as we continued to study narrative writing. We also looked at how respond well to reading comprehension questions by using the RACE method (Restate, Answer, Cite, Explain). These slides are on Google Classroom if you would like to take a look. We will be practicing the RACE method in our Narnia novel study next week.
This Monday is a dress down day for St. Valentine’s Day. A reminder that this coming Thursday and Friday are Pro-D Days.
