Grade 4

Week of May 24 – 28

Dear Grade Four Families,

Happy Victoria Day weekend! I hope you are enjoying the beautiful sunshine. Don’t forget to do your walk for the school walkathon sometime this weekend! The Grade 4 class is expected to walk 7 km! Also, please take some pictures of your walk! You will be asked to send in a photo to add to a video that will be shared with the school community at a later date. So wear your St. Paul School swag and get some exercise! (That would make Mr. Kelly so happy too)!

If you have had a chance to read this past Thursday Letter from Mrs. Moorehead, you are aware of the staffing changes for next year. I’m sure many of you are surprised by my decision to leave the classroom and move to the Learning Resouce/Support Department. I’m hoping my 22 years of teaching experience in the classroom (Grades 2, 4 and 7) will help me be a valuable member for the department. I look forward to this new challenge, and I’m excited to be able to work with students one on one from all the different grades! This class may be the last class I’ll ever teach…so they will always hold a special place in my heart!

Also, I kindly ask for you to continue to pray for Justice Guno and his family. This past Thursday, we prayed the Glorious mysteries for him. He and his family need all the prayers and support during this most devastating time in their lives. Let us ask God to heal Justice back to health, and for strength and comfort for his family. As God said, “When two or threee  are gathered together  in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:20) #JusticeSTRONG
