Hi Everyone:
I’m excited about our zone tournament coming up on Monday. Students were informed yesterday at our team meeting if they have qualified to represent St. Paul’s at the zone level. Important details for the day are listed below.
Where: St. Patrick’s Elementary School Gym – 2850 Quebec St. (Main & 13th)
When: Monday April 15, 2024
Gr. 6 boys & girls , Singles players and Doubles teams– 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (students should arrive at St. Pat’s no later than 8:45 am)
(pick-up for Gr. 6 is 12:00 pm to return to St. Paul’s for afternoon classes)
Gr. 7 boys & girls, Singles players and Doubles teams – 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm (Gr. 7 will depart St. Paul’s @ 11:30 am, 3:30 pm pick-up @ St. Pat’s)
All participating students will need their gym strip, running shoes and badminton racquets. Racquets will be provided for those students who do not have their own. Students will also need water and healthy snacks for the duration of the morning or afternoon. There will be a concession available at St. Pat’s.
Parents and students are responsible for organizing their own transportation to and from the tournament on Thursday. Grade 6 & 7 students wishing to assist with scorekeeping at the tournaments are asked to confirm their participation with Mr. Kelly at school today. Scorekeepers are also responsible for organizing their own transportation to and from the tournament.
