Grade 2

Week of May 31-June 4

Hi Grade Two Families,

This past week, the students packed up their suitcases and embarked on a road trip across Canada! So far, we visited British Columbia and Alberta and have already seen lots of famous landmarks along the way!

Also, this past week, the students continued learning about the Parts of the Mass: Introductory, Penitential, Liturgy of the Word, Offertory, Liturgy of the Eucharist, and Dismissal. They were given the challenge of working together to  come up with an acronym  to help them remember the order of the parts. The class was very creative and came up with I Pray With Others Every Day! Good job, Grade Two!

Speaking of Mass, we got confirmation on a date for First Holy Communion! Please check your email from Ms. Moorehead for more information. Kindly note that out of fairness to all the families, we will not be taking any Mass time requests as we cannot accommodate for everyone’s preferences. You will be assigned a time for your family once details are finalized. Thank you for your understanding.

Finally, I ask that you continue to pray for the Guno family as well as for the repose of Justice’s soul. Please also check in with your children and have a conversation with them about how they may be feeling during this difficult time.

Here are the reminders for the week:
