Dear Grade Two Families,
Congratulations to you and your children on receiving their First Reconciliation!
Fr. Smith and Fr. Sajy had nothing but wonderful things to say about your children and how they were so prepared and earnest in their confessions. Many of them came out of Confession skipping and with big smiles on their faces. They all looked so proud of themselves! It was very touching and heartwarming! Thank you very much for preparing with them for this important sacrament. Your guidance and support are most appreciated!
Today, your children brought home their Lenten Calendars to record their acts of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving over Spring Break. Please put this sheet somewhere your child will see (i.e. refrigerator, desk, etc.) and have them fill out one box every day, except on Sundays. They should have the calendar filled out up to Palm Sunday. The children will need to return this sheet to school after the break so that they can continue along their Lenten journey in class!
