Grade 5

Week of December 4 – 8, 2023

Hello Grade Five Families!
Happy First Sunday of Advent! I would like to thank all of the Grade Five students for helping to lead the Assembly on Friday morning. It was a wonderful start to the Advent season. We now have three weeks to wait and prepare for the coming of Jesus at Christmas. Let us all strive to wait with reverent, joyful anticipation as we prepare our hearts through prayer, reconciliation, generosity, and kindness.

As noted in the email sent last week, the Grade Five students are each responsible for bringing a 750ml bottle of shampoo to be gifted to one of the residents of Luke 15 House in Surrey. Please note that this is the very large size. Mrs. Imoo has kindly checked purchase prices and sizes, and recommends buying the 750ml bottle of shampoo from either Walmart or Superstore. Thank-you in advance for your participation in brightening someone’s Christmas with your generosity.
