Hello Grade 3 Families!
The Grade 3 students are diligently working on their science project and thoroughly enjoying the process! This coming Monday they will start to make a diorama of their chosen animal’s habitat. For this part of the project they will need a shoe box or a clean medium sized pizza box. Since they are working with a partner, only one partner will need to bring a box for their project. If we end up with extra boxes, we will distribute them among any teams who do not have a box, or your child will be able to bring it back home.
I will supply them with paint, paper & clay. If they want to add any other items, they are allowed to bring them from home. If we have the time, we will have the students from the other grades come to see them. This is a project that I really love doing since it is multi-faceted: it is a cross-curricular project that connects Science, Visual Arts (making a diorama & a video skit), and Language Arts.
Here are the reminders for the week:
Monday ~March 6th
- Bring a shoe box or a clean medium sized pizza box
- 8:15 ~ Lenten Mass (all students are asked to attend): you are welcome to join us
- PE
- Yummy Pasta Hot Lunch: please have your child bring their own cutlery

Wednesday ~ March 8th

- Dismissal is at 2 pm
Thursday ~ March 9th
- 8:15 ~ Lenten Mass (all students are asked to attend): you are welcome to join us
- Library: bring library books back to school
- White Spot Hot Lunch: please have your child bring their own cutlery
- Music
Friday ~ March 10th
- 8:15 ~ Lenten Mass (all students are asked to attend): you are welcome to join us

- PE
- Last day before Spring Break
