Grade 3

June 5th ~ 9th

Hello Grade 3 Families!

I hope that you are all enjoying the beautiful weekend🌤️ and staying cool💦!

Last week some of the Grade 3 students did not quite finish the writing and drawing component of their Social Studies project. They will have time to work on them on Monday, then we will start the group presentations on Tuesday.

This week we will also be starting a unit on geometry. The students will be learning about the various geometric forms.

It is also already time to get ready for the end of the school year activities🤗💙! On Monday, your child will be bringing home a form that will need to be signed by you for the Primary Picnic. This year it will be taking place at King George Park on Monday, June 26th. We have changed location so that the students can enjoy playing in the water park.

Since it is too far to walk there from St. Paul’s, you will need to bring your child there between 9:30 & 9:45 am, and come to pick them up at 2:30 pm. All of the details will be on the form; I will also be sending an email home on Monday at the end of the day.

For this activity I will be needing the assistance of 6 parents to be responsible of a group of 5 children throughout the day. If you can help out, please respond to the email I will be sending out on Monday and I will get in touch with you.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
