Grade 2

May 13-17

Hi Grade Two Families,

Today, our class did a wonderful job honouring our Holy Mother with a Crowning of Mary Assembly. The children led a reverent and joy-filled celebration with their buddies and reminded the school that Mother Mary is not only Jesus’ mother but our mother in heaven too. In class, we discussed Mary’s obedience and made flower crowns for our Blessed Mother to recognize her as Queen of the Universe and to show how much we appreciate her saying “Yes” to God!

I would also like to wish all moms a Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you have a tea-rrific day with your families! You deserve all the sunshine and love today and every day!
