Dear Grade Two Families,
Congratulations to you and your children on their First Communion and for completing the program! It was a beautiful day on Saturday and your children so earnestly received the Lord. I especially loved seeing all of their faces full of a sense of pride, love, and joy at the end of Mass!
Your child’s Gold Book was taken home today, after having been signed by Father Smith and myself. You are also welcome to sign the certificate at the back of the book! Please note that this is not the official First Communion certificate for your child, as those will be coming at a later date. The Gold Book may now stay at home as a keepsake. Thank you for all your support in helping the children prepare for this most holy sacrament!
