Grade 6

May 31st – June 4th

Dear Grade Six Families,

Yesterday the students had an opportunity to wear their jeans for Jeans Day. Thank you for your support of this fundraiser as the money collected will go to support all of the incredible work that the doctors and nurses do at the BC Children’s Hospital. This fundraiser certainly does hold a special place in all of our hearts.

This has been a difficult week for all of us at St. Paul School and our community as we are grieving the loss of Justice Guno, our Grade 7 student. Please keep Justice and his family in your prayers. Condolences can be sent via the Facebook page “Pray for Justice”, cards and Mass cards can be dropped off at the school office and donations can be made to BC Children’s Hospital. See your email for a detailed letter provided by the Guno family.

Below is a letter from Mr. Kirkham regarding the Grade 7 fundraiser for this school year.

Hi St. Paul Families!

It’s that time of year again where the Grade 7 students are busy organizing their annual fundraiser, which will take place on June 15th. It will be a virtual presentation this year complete with video skits, rock band performances, Grade 7 Art Exhibition and more!

All St. Paul students will be able to order a variety of snack items, Grade 7-made plushies, and raffle tickets to win prizes.

Past years have seen the money go to the Door is Open Catholic Mission. However, this year, the students have decided to donate all the proceeds to Children’s Hospital.

The Grade Seven’s have created a brief ad to give you more information.
