Kindergarten

November 7th – 11th

Hi Kindergarten families,

This week, Kindergarten had a very exciting Halloween Dress Down Day, complete with centres at the end of the day. Then they learned the importance of Halloween, as the day before All Saints and All Souls Day; reverently prayed for the faithful followers of God and for those who have passed.

Featured Image:

Our image this week is from our All Saints Bingo! It was a great way to follow up our lesson about who the saints are, and to become familiar with some of their names. We built on differentiation and observations skills, (such as finding a red hat, or a brown dress, or a yellow cross on a shield), to help match and find the saint on their card. All Saints, pray for us!

    • If you notice that your child has not finished the back of their Letter Record page in class, please brainstorm with them three words that begin with that letter. Then, have them write down the three words on the dotted lines and draw their corresponding pictures in the blank box.

This book contains some strategies we have learned in class to be kind and mindful friends! Please review these strategies with your child and place the duotang back inside your child’s homework folder every day.
