Hi Kinder Families,
We hope you all had a wonderful long weekend! We spent this week learning about how to blend short words and writing numbers 7 and 8! We have a new theme for Show and Tell! The children will bring in their favourite book on their day and be given the opportunity to either read it themselves to the class or ask the teacher to do it.

Homework:
“My Reading Book” (Inside Homework Folder): We have sent home Hail Mary and a nursery rhyme as home reading. We encourage you to spend 10 minutes reading daily with your child. You can leave the readings inside their homework folder.
“My Read Well” book: Please review the letter of the week and use the “Parent Prompt” questions (found on the bottom of the page) with your child.
UFLI Home Reading: The lesson 5 home practice sheets were sent home yesterday. Please read the email that was sent to accompany this work.
