Grade 7

Week of April 18 – 22nd

Happy Easter! Christ is risen, Alleluia!

I hope you have had a blessed, joyful Easter weekend with your family.

Last Supper Presentation

On Holy Thursday, the Grade 7 class did a wonderful job presenting both our salvation history as it begins in the Hebrew scriptures and then Jesus’ last supper where he celebrated the Passover meal with his apostles for the last time before becoming the new sacrificial lamb. Thank you to all the students for dedicating their time and talents to this presentation, which was in front of a live audience for the first time in three years!

Confession – Tuesday April 19

Just a gentle reminder to the students that tomorrow will be confession at 9am. An examination of conscience is posted in the Christian Education classroom, which should be reviewed prior to the receiving of this Sacrament tomorrow.

Class Photo Day – Tuesday April 19

As stated in the Thursday letter last week, class photo day is tomorrow. Grade 7 students will be wearing their hoodie, so please ensure your child has it on when they leave for school tomorrow 🙂

Outdoor Education Permission Forms – Due Tuesday April 19

The reminders continue! All three Outdoor Education forms (Parent Consent, Rules Acknowledgement and Medical Forms) plus the $100 payment is due tomorrow. Even if you do not plan to include medication with your child, that must be indicated on the medical form and returned with the other two forms, thank you!

Student Led Conferences – Friday April 22nd

Hopefully you have had the opportunity to sign up for a time slot for Student Led Conference, which will take place in the classroom on Friday April 22nd. Just a reminder that there is no regular school that day.

That’s all for now. Have a wonderful week ahead.
