Hello Grade 3 Families!
This coming week is the third week of Advent and the last week of school before the Christmas Holidays! We will be lighting the pink candle on the Advent wreath which symbolizes joy. There will definitely be a lot of joy in the classroom this week with the Christmas Concert presentations and the Advent Party!

Thank you for having had your child bring back the cleaned and ironed white robe they will be wearing for the Christmas concert.
The students will change for the 1 pm presentation on Tuesday, in which they will be staying in the gym for the whole performance. The Grade 3 students will then be going home in the clothes they will be wearing under the white robes.
When they come back to school for the evening presentation, they should be wearing the same clothes they wore underneath their robes in the afternoon. They will bring back their St. Paul uniform when they go home at the end of the evening.
The students will not have spelling words this week due to the many Christmas activities that will be taking place.
Here are the reminders for the week:
Monday ~ December 18th
- Christmas Concert practice: for students only
Tuesday ~ December 19th
- Students bring their neutral/white coloured top and dark trousers to school in a bag and come to school in their full school uniform
- the afternoon Christmas Concert begins at 1 pm: Grade 3 students go home in the white/neutral coloured top and dark trousers attire they are wearing under the white robes
- students return to school at 6:10 pm wearing the same attire for the evening Christmas Concert
Wednesday ~ December 20th
- Advent “Pyjama” Party at 10 am *Students can bring a stuffy
- Dismissal is at 2 pm
Thursday ~ December 21st
- Mass led by Grade 6 (you are welcome to join us): the students are expected to wear full uniform including their sweater
Friday ~ December 22nd
- Dress Down Day: Christmas sweater or Christmas colours (red & green)
- 9 am: Assembly led by Grade 2 & 4 ~ you are welcome to join us
School ends at noon (Christmas Holidays)
