Hello Grade 3 Families!
This coming week is the second week of Advent, where we will be lighting the candle on the Advent wreath that symbolizes peace. As Grade 3 students prepare for the coming of Jesus, we remember that the coming of Jesus is our hope and His presence is our peace.
“For a child has been born for us, a son given to us; authority rests upon his shoulders; and he is named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6-7
Monday is the last day to hand in the insulated gloves and the 5 dollar donation for the Luke 15 House. Thank you for your contribution in helping to bring joy to the men at Luke 15 House, a Christ-centred home and school of love, support, and healing for men with addictions.
Here are the reminders for the week:
Monday ~ December 11th
- Luke 15 House donations due today

- Triple Os Hot Lunch: please have your child bring their own cutlery
- the Grade 3 students will be bringing home the white robe, that they will be wearing for the Christmas concert, to have it cleaned by you
Tuesday ~ December 12th
- French
- Edward’s birthday pizza lunch
Wednesday ~ December 13th
- PE
- Dismissal is at 2 pm
Thursday ~ December 14th
- The robes for the Christmas concert should be brought back today. They should be clean, ironed, and on a hanger in a suit bag or covered with a plastic bag
- Mass led by Grade 1 students: you are welcome to join us
- Library: all library books should be returned by today
- Music
Friday ~ December 15th
- PE
- Fukuroku Hot Lunch: please have your child bring their own cutlery
