Grade 1

Week of November 13 – 17

Hi Grade One Families,

This week the children learned all about Remembrance Day, and how it is observed on the 11th day of the 11th month, November 11th.

Grade 1 attended a special Remembrance Day assembly led by the Grade 6s. We also created our very own poppy art that is featured in our image of the week.

At the 11th hour on Remembrance Day, we pause to remember the brave soldiers, sailors and aviators who fought, and continue to fight to keep Canada safe and free.
