I’m very proud and excited to inform that our school’s Badminton team are the Overall Aggregate Champions in this year’s CISVA Badminton Championships! Coupled with our strong team performance were a number of standout individual and doubles’ teams results which are listed below.
Gr. 6 Girls’ Singles – Gold, Silver
Gr. 6 Girls’ Doubles – Gold
Gr. 7 Girls’ Singles – Silver
Gr. 7 Boys’ Doubles – Gold
Gr. 6 Mixed Doubles – Gold, Silver
Gr. 7 Mixed Doubles – Bronze
Our Girls’ team also won the Aggregate for the Girls’ Division and our Boys’ team placed second overall in the Boys’ Division.
Congratulations to each and every member of our school’s Badminton team for these outstanding results. Our participation rate in each of Gr. 5-7 was 100% ! It just goes to show that we can embrace both excellence in performance and participation at the same time. I could not be prouder of the accomplishments of all of these students. We will celebrate and acknowledge our Badminton team at assembly on Friday May 10, 2019.
