Hello, Grade 7 Parents,
Thank you to the Grade Seven students for their wonderful assembly about Saints Timothy and Titus with their Kindergarten buddies. In particular I enjoyed playing our song, “They’ll Know We Are Christians By Our Love”, with the Grade 7 musicians, Kindergarten percussion, and the handclap accompaniment of the school and parents. The unity of our “beat” and the lyrics really summed up the message of our assembly: “we will work with each other side by side.”
Next week we have two key dates:
Friday February 2 – Communicating Student Learning (CSL) Progress Reports
This coming Friday the students will receive their CSL reports detailing their current progress with curricular skills and content we have been working on and learning about.
I will send home a separate email next week when the report goes home with further suggestions for helpful approaches to reading this report with your child.
Saturday February 3 – Confirmation Pep Rally
The event will begin with checkin in the parish centre at 8:50am and run until 2:00pm with pickup taking place at the same drop off location. Other than Mass, all activities will take place in the Parish Centre.
