Hi everyone!
Just a few important reminders and news updates for this week.
Monday April 30th – Rock Band Practice will be at lunch. No practice on Tuesday morning.
Tuesday May 1st – 7:40am – Late Morning Show (title of Grade 7 fundraiser) practice for Spill sketch.
The Grade 7 Fundraiser this year will be a ‘variety show’ of sorts, put together by the Grade 7’s, consisting of a mix of live and video-recorded skits, Rock Band performances and food/craft sales. The students are currently writing skits, preparing items to sell, creating advertisements and organizing the production overall in preparation for the presentation which will take place at the beginning of June (date TBA). to The goal of the event is to raise money for the Door is Open (a drop-in ministry in Vancouver’s downtown eastside that provides food, clothing, counselling, and shelter services for the poor).
Wednesday May 2nd – St Paul/St. Joseph Track Meet @ Minoru (everyone meets at 8:30am at the track). It ends at about 1:30pm and pickup will be from the track.
Wednesday May 2nd – Confirmation Rehearsal in the church. 7pm – 8pm. Attendance for sponsors and students is mandatory.
Thursday May 3rd – 8:00am – Late Morning Show practice for carpool sketch.
Friday May 4th – No School – Teacher Professional Development Day. May the fourth be with you 🙂
