Hello Grade 3 Families!
This coming week is the third week of Advent, and we will be lighting the candle on the Advent wreath which symbolizes joy. There will definitely be a lot of joy in the classroom this week with the Christmas Concert presentations and the Advent Party!

The students brought home their Christmas gift for you earlier than anticipated: this is due to an ant issue in the Grade 2 classroom. The opening of the gift should only be on Christmas day. Until then, it can be a Christmas decoration or a present under the tree 🎄💜✨!
Thank you for having had your child bring what they will be wearing for the Christmas concert to school, so that we have everything ready for this coming Tuesday 🤗💜🎶!
The students will change for the 1 pm presentation on Tuesday, in which they will be staying in the gym for the whole performance. The Grade 3 students will then be going home in their concert clothes.
When they come back to school for the evening presentation, they should be wearing the same concert clothes they wore in the afternoon 🌟! They will bring back their St. Paul uniform when they go home at the end of the evening.
Here are the reminders for the week:
Monday ~ December 12th
- Christmas Concert practice: for students only
- Yummy Pasta hot lunch: students bring their own cutlery
Tuesday ~ December 13th
- students come to school in their full school uniform
- the afternoon Christmas Concert begins at 1 pm: Grade 3 students go home in their Christmas Concert attire
- students return to school at 6:10 pm wearing the same attire for the evening Christmas Concert
- Please read Mrs. Moorehead’s email from Thursday December 8th for all of the information about the Christmas Concert.
Wednesday ~ December 14th
- French
- Dismissal is at 2 pm
Thursday ~ December 15th
- Mass led by Grade 6 (you are welcome to join us): the students are expected to wear full uniform including their sweater
- Advent Party at 11 am
Friday ~ December 16th
- Dress Down Day: ugly sweaters or Christmas colours (red & green)
- Assembly led by Grade 6 & 3 students at 9 am: you are welcome to join us
School ends at noon (Christmas Holidays)
