Hello Grade One Families!
We have had lots of fun in Grade One this week!
The student’s shared all their stories from the long weekend and it sounds like everyone had a wonderful time with family and with friends. This week, we began the Lenten season on Ash Wednesday. Through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, the students will continue to explore the ways in which they can grow closer to Jesus during Lent.
Thank you to all the families who were able to attend morning mass this week. A reminder that mass starts at 8.15am everyday. If students arrive late, they are still asked to go to the church until mass ends and the school opens. There will be an adult at the back of the church there to help the students find a place to leave their backpack and to find a seat. Parents are also encouraged to attend! Please also remember to send in your hot lunch order forms for next term.
