Hi Grade One Families,
We now find ourselves in the second week of Advent. This is traditionally the week of peace or the week of preparation. It is time to take a moment…many moments…to seek peace in time spent with the Lord.
Only two more school weeks to go! At this time of the year we are flexible and prepared for changes in our schedule to accommodate special events and the extra time that it takes very excited children to do their activities and assignments in class. Advent is a wonderful time to be blessed to be a teacher of young children!
St. Paul’s Christmas Charity Project for 2023 supports Luke 15 House. Luke 15 house is a Christ-centered home and school of love, support, and healing for men with addiction. A reminder that the Grade 1 class has been asked to bring one adult toque and $5 cash per child. Please bring all donations latest by Monday, December 11th. Please see email from Ms. Griffin for more information.
Grade 1 Advent Calendars were sent home with all students last week. Please take a look inside your child’s agenda to see some of Grade 1’s advent promises. We also have our Advent celebration on Monday and host Mass on Thursday. Looking forward to seeing many of you there!
Lastly, emails have been sent home about December in Grade 1 as well as Christmas Celebration costumes. Please have a read through, and let us know if you have any questions.
