From the Principal

A Hopeful 2021 Ahead.

Dear Parents,

In my last Principal’s Message of 2020, I want to take this opportunity to extend my deep appreciation and admiration for this amazing community.  The last nine months have tested all of us, both professionally and personally.  With the combination of a respected school Safety Plan, parents and staff making good personal safety choices, and the good fortune of zero confirmed COVID-19 cases within our student or staff population, our school has successfully navigated the pandemic thus far.  But it hasn’t been without its challenges, and we are certainly not through it yet.  Hope is on the horizon, however.

When looking ahead to January, please think of our school community when celebrating the holidays.  Since school exposures are a reflection of community transmission, I strongly encourage everyone to follow the current public health orders over the winter break. This includes: not gathering with anyone outside of your immediate household; only travelling for essential purposes; and wearing a mask in all indoor public settings.  Whatever the new year holds, we will face it together as a community of faith.

The staff of St. Paul School wishes all of our families a most blessed Christmas, and a brighter and hopeful 2021.

Yours in faith,

Maureen Moorehead
