Meet the Teacher Night 2021-2022

Hello St. Paul Families,

Meet the Teacher Night will be held over two evenings, on Monday Sept. 13th and Tuesday Sept. 14th. You will meet your child’s teacher in person, in the school gym.

One class at a time will present in the gym, and we ask that no more than TWO adult family members attend. (This is not an evening to bring children).

You will have the opportunity to meet your child’s classroom Teacher and classroom Education Assistants, hear what the grade level program will look like, and what the expectations are for the year.

Teachers will provide a 25 minute presentation, with 5 mins in between presentations to prepare for the next class’ presentation.

Unlike last year, parents will NOT be invited to each classroom after the presentation in the gym. But not to worry – parents will have an opportunity to visit inside the classroom in October during Parent/Teacher conferences.

The schedule is as follows:

Monday, Sept. 13th – 6:00 to 8:30 pm

Kinder 6:00 to 6:30 pm
Gr. 2 6:30 to 7:00 pm
Gr. 1 7:00 to 7:30 pm
Gr. 3 7:30 to 8:00 pm

Tuesday, Sept. 14th – 6:00 to 8:30 pm
Gr. 4 6:00 to 6:30 pm
Gr. 6 6:30 to 7:00 pm
Gr. 5 7:00 to 7:30 pm
Gr. 7 7:30 to 8:00 pm

The schedule lists classes that are out of grade order, and this is on purpose. This is because many families might have multiple children that are two grades apart, and so we staggered the sessions to allow those parents to attend sessions consecutively. This will not apply to all families, of course. We also understand that the above schedule may require some families to attend both nights, and we thank you for understanding.

All parents must wear a mask. If you do not have a mask we will be happy to provide one for you. You are asked to NOT attend the evening if you are showing any signs of illness as outlined in the daily health check.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, any information that was handed out/shared will be sent home with your child the next day.

Thank you, and we look forward to meeting with you.

Yours in faith,
