I’m excited for our first track meet of the 2019 season.
All students from Gr. 3-7 need to report to their classroom teachers in the stands @ Minoru Track by 8:45 am on Monday. This event is a part of our school’s PE program and all students in Gr. 3-7 will participate! A schedule of the day’s events is attached for your convenience.
All students should wear their gym strip and runners and be appropriately dressed for the weather. Students will require adequate snacks and water for the day’s competition as well as sunscreen & hats for protection from the sun. Hot lunch will be delivered to the stands on Monday although students will likely not have a “formal” lunch time as all of the events run through the lunch hour. The concession will be available at the end of the meet should students wish to get a treat as they leave the facility. Students are reminded to sign out/check out with their classroom teachers to ensure that everyone is accounted for as the track meet concludes. Pick-up time on Monday is between 1:30 – 1:45 pm at Minoru Track for all Gr. 3-7 students. Students in Kindergarten to Grade 2 will be dismissed from school at the regular 3:00 pm dismissal time.
