Grade 5

Week of September 11 – 15, 2023

Hello Grade Five Families!
The students made an amazing transition to Grade Five and kept the positive energy going in the classroom from the first day on Tuesday until the end of PE class on Friday afternoon. It’s such a blessing for me to be able to work with this fantastic group of students again. It was a very busy week including a Walkabout on Wednesday morning to review school rules, meeting Grade One buddies on Wednesday afternoon, Mass on Thursday morning, and an Assembly on Friday morning. Next week will be busy too with the first volleyball and cross-country practices, and the Grade Five Mass on Thursday morning.

Our regular PE days in Grade Five are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The students will also need their PE strip for volleyball and cross-country practices. Please keep up-to-date on practice days and times by subscribing to the PE blog which is updated weekly by Mr. Kelly. Students are expected to know their practice days and times each week and be on time and ready for each practice. Thank-you for your support!

The Grade 7 class will be going to their Outdoor Education Program from Tuesday September 12 until Friday September 15. This means that the PE schedule will be adjusted and the students will have PE every day from Tuesday – Friday with Mr. MK who will be coming in to teach for Mr. Kelly while he is with the Grade 7 class.
