Hello Grade One Families!
Welcome back to school! We hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing Spring Break! It is hard to believe we are already beginning the month of April! The last 3 months of school always fly by! On Holy Thursday this week, the Gr. 7 class will be putting on a performance of the last supper, all are welcome to attend. This also brings an end to our daily lenten masses.
Here are a couple of reminders for next week:
No School – Friday, April 7th (Good Friday) and Monday, April 10th (Holy Monday).
Mite Boxes – Please keep the Mite box in a safe place at home, encourage your child to donate coins throughout Lent, and then return the Mite box to school during Holy Week. This is one way that we will practice almsgiving this Lenten season. We are also asked to pray for the seminarians during Lent that God will bless them in their studies and their vocation. Mite Boxes are due Wednesday, April 5th.
IAAGFG (I am a gift from God) – We will be sending home the booklets for the students to work on the next lesson in their program on Thursday of next week. (Thursday April 6th)
Student – Led – Student – Led will take place on Friday, April 21st . More information to follow from the office regarding booking a time slot.
Daily Lenten Masses – The last morning of Lenten Masses will be Wednesday, April 5th.
Also, a thank you also to all those who have been able to attend the daily 8:15 am morning Masses. They will continue until Wednesday.
