It was such a pleasure meeting all of you at Meet the Teacher Night! Thank you for taking the time to meet the school staff and visit our classroom. We also had a very fun-filled start to FULL DAY Kindergarten! The kids all had a great time getting to meet and play with their new friends and did a wonderful job being attentive at our first school Mass!

Friendly Reminders for this Week:

  1. Thank you for sending in the “Items needed for September.” If you are still missing items, please send them in as soon as possible.
  2. Reading ‘Book’ (yellow folder) – Please spend 10 minutes reading daily with your child and send their Reading ‘Book’ (yellow folder) inside their homework folder back to school every day.
  3. Sweaters – Please check your child’s school sweater(s) to ensure they have their own, as we have had a few incidents of lost sweaters. We also kindly remind you to label your child’s sweater so that they can be returned, if they go missing.
  4. Backpacks – We noticed that some of your children’s backpacks are unable to be fully zipped when their homework folder is placed inside them. Please ensure that your child’s backpack is big enough to fit their homework folder and any other belongings they may carry in it.
  5. Emergency Identification Badge forms are due on Monday, September 23rd
  6. Early Intervention Packages (flashcards) are due on Thursday, September 26th
  7. Nature Walk forms are due on Thursday, September 26th

Upcoming Dates:

  1. Friday, October 4th – Fukuroku Hot Lunch (for those who ordered)
  2. Monday, October 7th– Nova Foods Hot Lunch begins (for those who ordered)
  3. Thursday, October 10th– Photo Day (more details to come)
