November 4th-8th

Hi Kinder Families! We had another fun and exciting week. The kids enjoyed seeing each other’s Halloween costumes and participating in the Halloween activities at our class party! Thank you to the parents who were able to join us for our Halloween Party and especially to those who volunteered to host a centre. The students had a fang-tastic time celebrating Halloween with you all!

Friendly Reminders

  1. Homework folders– Please continue to check these daily and send them back to school every day with your child. Each morning the children hand these in.
  2. My Reading” book– Please continue 10 to 15 minutes of daily reading with your child and place this book inside your child’s homework folder every day.
  3. “Read-Well” book– This book contains all of your children’s work in our Language Arts Program “Read Well.” Please review the letter of the week and use the “Parent Prompt” questions (found at the bottom of each page) with your child.
  4. Sweaters – Please remember to check your child’s school sweater(s) to ensure they have their own, as we have had a few incidents of lost sweaters. We also kindly remind you to label your child’s sweater so that they can be returned, if they go missing.
  5. Toys – Just a friendly reminder that unless it is your child’s show and tell, please be sure to keep toys at home, so that they don’t get lost or broken at school.
