May 10th – 14th

Hi Kinder families,

In May we focus on learning about Mother Mary, and the wonderful Mother’s in our lives. We had a very busy and exciting week preparing for Mother’s Day! Those of you that have been Kinder moms before know that we usually enjoy a Mother’s Day tea together in class. Unfortunately, while Covid has put a hold on our traditional tea party, we hope that all Mother’s enjoy our creative class gifts this year! Kindergarten worked very hard all week, to make Mother’s Day special. Thank you to all the Super-Moms (and grandmoms!) for everything that you do! We certainly are blessed to have you all in our lives and wish you all a very Happy Mother’s Day!

  3. Spelling Challenges- Please take a look at your child’s green Spelling Challenge folder and review any words that need to be reviewed. New lists will continue to be sent out on Mondays.
  4. “Hail Mary” prayer – Please find a copy of the Hail Mary in your child’s homework folder and practice praying it every night with your child. We will begin incorporating it into our Morning Prayer routine starting on Monday (through the month of May).

Friendly Reminders:

  1. Sweaters – Please remember to check your child’s school sweater(s) to ensure they have their own, as we have had a few incidents of lost sweaters especially with the nice weather. We also kindly remind you to label your child’s sweater so that they can be returned, if they go missing.
