March 1st-5th

This week, we had a very exciting week! On Tuesday, we celebrated our 100th Day of School by making 100 Day crowns, Fruit Loop necklaces, as well as showing our creative 100 day home projects. On Wednesday, we celebrated Pink Shirt Day. This year’s focus was working together and treating others with dignity and respect. We thought of the many ways we can be kind and respectful friends at school. On Wednesday, we were also able to celebrate Lenten Mass with Father Smith, where he taught us about the Story of Jonah. In class, we continue to work through the I’m a Gift from God program and learn about the Lenten season- with a focus on prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
