February 22nd – 26th

This week, on Ash Wednesday, we began our 40-day Lenten Season. Lent is a time for us to clean our hearts for Jesus. We will explore the ways we can grow closer to Jesus during Lent though prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. The children have begun their “Lenten Journey” in class by colouring in one square per day, they have learned a new “Lent” song, as well as have begun their “Lenten Good Deeds Chart.” Next week we look forward to our 100th Day of School celebration on Tuesday, February 23rd, as well as Pink Shirt Day on Wednesday, February 24th.
