Grade 5

Week of September 13th

Hi Grade Five Families,

We just finished our first full week back at school, and what a busy week it was!

We started the week with a visit from Jacob Imoo on Tuesday. He told us all about the Giving Truck and we made cards to give to the elderly. It was a really fun experience and the students were excited to share their creations with those who might need kind words at this time.

We had our first visit from Fr. Felix on Friday.  He told us about his journey to Priesthood. It was so great getting to know him better. We also had our first opportunity to go to the newly updated library. The students really enjoyed their time there.

Reminder to all students to please bring a waterproof coat to school as the weather is getting worse each week. The students go outside for recess and lunch regardless of the weather.

Please also bring in a shirt / t-shirt that the students can get paint on as the students will need one for art next Friday.
